Samadhi Spa Medellín privacy and data policy

Samadhi Spa Medellín processes personal data under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013 (Habeas Data). This policy explains what data we collect when you book, buy or register on this site, why, and how to exercise your rights.

Samadhi Spa Medellín uses BookHive, an independent booking software provider, as data processor to run this site. BookHive processes the data only on our instructions.
2. Data we collect
- Identification and contact: name, mobile number, email.
- Your bookings, purchases, gift cards, loyalty points and reviews.
- Notes and preferences you share for your service.
- Health information only if you fill in an assessment form (sensitive data, see section 4).
- Payment data is handled by the payment gateway; we do not store full card numbers.
3. Purposes
- Manage your bookings and send confirmations, reminders and service notices (these are not advertising).
- Process deposits, payments, gift cards and loyalty benefits.
- Answer your requests and follow up on the quality of the service, including review requests.
- Send promotions and news only if you opted in. You can opt out anytime.
- Comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
4. Sensitive data
Health information requested in assessment forms is sensitive data. Answering is optional; we use it only to provide the service safely and only with your explicit authorization.
5. Your rights and how to exercise them
You may access, update, correct and delete your data, request proof of your authorization, revoke it, and file complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio after contacting us. Write to samadhispamedellin@gmail.com. We answer queries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days, as provided by law.
6. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your data. We share it with BookHive and its providers (hosting, email, WhatsApp messaging and payment gateways), some located outside Colombia, under confidentiality and security obligations. If our team uses an AI assistant connected to BookHive (such as Claude or ChatGPT) to manage bookings, the assistant's provider receives the booking details it needs, with your phone number and email partly hidden.
7. Cookies
This site uses necessary cookies (language, sessions, anti-bot checks). Analytics or advertising tools, if any, load only after you accept them in the cookie notice.
8. Retention and changes
We keep your data while you are our client and for the periods required by law, then delete or anonymize it. We will publish any change here with its date. See also our booking terms.
